Description: Day 1 | March 17, 2026 – Arrival in Ashgabat Arrival from Moscow at Ashgabat International Airport. Visa issuance upon arrival and mandatory COVID test (USD 35), payable in cash (USD). Meeting with the guide holding a name sign, transfer to the hotel, check-in and rest. After a short break, sightseeing tour of Ashgabat and visit to Old Nisa Fortress – the sanctuary of the Parthian kings and former capital of the Parthian Empire. Continuation of the city tour including: Health Path in the Kopetdag Mountains, Independence Monument and Park, Neutrality Tower, Ferris Wheel, Wedding Palace. In the evening, visit to one of the city’s shopping and entertainment centers. Overnight at the hotel.
Description: Day 2 | March 18, 2026 – Ashgabat – Mary – Ashgabat Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Mary (approx. 4 hours). Visit to Ancient Merv (UNESCO World Heritage Site) – one of the largest archaeological complexes in Central Asia and a key city of the Silk Road for over 2,000 years. Exploration of the 12th-century Mausoleum of Sultan Sanjar and the Mausoleum of Muhammad ibn Zayd, masterpieces of Seljuk architecture. City tour of Mary, visit to shopping centers and local bazaar. In the evening, return drive to Ashgabat (approx. 4 hours). Overnight at the hotel.
Description: Day 3 | March 19, 2026 – Ashgabat – Darvaza Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the National Carpet Museum, where guests learn about the history, symbolism, and patterns of authentic Turkmen carpets. Visit to Altyn Asyr Oriental Bazaar. Drive towards Darvaza Gas Crater. On the way, visit Erbent village to observe traditional rural life of Turkmen nomads: felt products, carpets, camel milk, yurts, hunting dogs, beliefs, and customs. Arrival at Darvaza Gas Crater, located 270 km north of Ashgabat. Visit the Gas, Water, and Mud Craters. Best experience is at sunset and after dark, when the crater reveals its full dramatic beauty with powerful flames rising into the night sky. BBQ-style dinner at the camp. Overnight in traditional yurts near the crater.
Description: Day 4 | March 20, 2026 – Darvaza – Ashgabat Early breakfast at the camp. Departure to Ashgabat. Upon arrival, visit to the National History Museum, followed by the Mausoleum of Turkmenbashi and Ruhy Mosque. Overnight at the hotel.
Description: Day 5 | March 21, 2026 – Ashgabat – Kow-Ata – Nokhur Breakfast at the hotel. Participation in Nowruz celebrations. In the afternoon, drive to Kow-Ata Underground Lake (approx. 1.5 hours). The cave is 230 m long, up to 20 m high, and up to 57 m wide. The crystal-clear mineral water maintains a constant temperature of 33–37°C. Swimming is allowed. Continuation to Nokhur village, located in a mountain valley of the Kopetdag Range. Stone houses, narrow streets, and a unique ethnic group with traditions distinct from other Turkmen tribes. Return to Ashgabat.
